We will have some, but limited seating available to use (thanks to our friends at REI Knoxville), but there will be PLENTY of space for everyone to bring their own seating.

Chelsea-Rude5.jpg

Chelsea Rude is a professional climber who has been climbing for about 20 years. She grew up competing, winning National Championship titles and placing top 15 many times at various World Cups. She was part of the US Team for a total of 12 years. After competing for about 17 years she decided that she wanted to focus her efforts on the rock and enjoying her time outside. Chelsea has redpointed many 5.14's and V11's, and has onsighted up to 5.13c. While she is primarily a sport climber and secondarily a boulderer, Chelsea truly loves and has been exploring all types of climbing: traditional, ice and alpine climbing. She also began coaching when she was 17 years old and was the first female Youth US Team coach from 2010-2012. Chelsea currently travels to teach clinics and do public speaking events at climbing gyms and Universities around the country. She also works part time at the American Alpine Club, is in the process of starting her own non-profit organization, is working at writing a book and is also aiming at applying to Physicians Assistant school next April.

Sue Finney is a mom to 3, a champion triathlete, a former Division 1 collegiate athlete, Gym Jones Advanced instructor, a former special ed teacher, and an all around athlete extraordinaire. She works hard and with purpose in everything she does, specializes in women’s fitness and athletic conditioning, and has 10+ years experience with endurance athletes.

Jessica Brackett is a Knoxville native and has been a physical therapist for 10 years practicing at TN Orthopedic Clinics.  She is an avid rock climber and enjoys getting outside with her 2 year old son.  She has climbed for 16 years and climbed all over the US, Mexico and Greece.  She also enjoys mountain biking with her husband, paddle boarding and trail running in the urban wilderness and lives in south Knoxville.

Alice Hafer is a sponsored travelling climber, writer, and filmmaker. Alice started climbing 8 years ago at the unassuming Tallahassee Rock Gym, to then place 3rd in the USA National Competition as a collegiate climber. Since then, she took the win at multiple competitions in the USA and in Europe including the title of 2016 Senior Female Blokfest Champion at the competition series in London, England. While in England, under the inspiration of her trainer, Wide Boyz hero and Lattice founder, Tom Randall, she gave a go at crack climbing with partner Zofia Reych, depicted in her film STUCK. Since then, Alice decided to focus on outdoor climbing. She's climbed all over the world sending boulders up to V11 and 5.13b/c sport ascents. Alice is currently focusing on her next film and upcoming expedition to Africa. Follow her travels @alicehafer.
