Monday: Free beginner Technique Class
6:00 – 7:30 PM
This class is FREE for members! Learn how to move more efficiently and confidently on the wall at any angle. This class focuses on the fundamentals of energy conservation through proper footwork, balance, weight-shifting, and rest strategies. You’ll also explore dynamic vs. static climbing and develop essential route-reading skills to help you climb smarter.

We’re excited to welcome Leanne Urbanek, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Onsight member, for a special evening of injury prevention education and community connection!
Schedule
5:00 PM – Booth Setup & Member Meet & Greet
Stop by the Kramer PT booth downstairs to grab some swag, ask questions, and chat about injury prevention for climbers.
6:00 PM – All-Levels Workshop: “Warming Up for the Cold Season” (Upstairs)
Learn why warming up is essential for climbing performance and injury prevention. This interactive workshop covers key warm-up strategies and ends with a quick, practical routine you can use all season long.
After the Workshop – “Ask a PT” in the Bouldering Area
An informal Q&A with Leanne Urbanek, DPT. Bring your questions, ask for movement feedback, or talk through any pains with a climbing-focused physical therapist.
About Leanne Urbanek, DPT
I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University here in Knoxville. I work at Kramer Physical Therapy, where I provide one-on-one, personalized care to help people move and perform their best.
I’ve been climbing for 8 years with experience in both bouldering and sport climbing, and my goal is to support the Knoxville climbing community as a specialist in rehabilitation and injury preventionfor rock climbers.
