Applied Body Tension with Kris Hampton AND NATE DROLET
While Climbing is a skill based sport, and movement quality perhaps the most important aspect, a structured practice to improve technique remains elusive. Power Company Climbing borrowed from their history with gymnastics, strength training, and deliberate practice to tackle one of the most important movement skills for climbers: Body Tension. More than simply core strength, this workshop is an exploration of how to develop, practice, and effectively apply tension through the entire body, to both static and explosive movement.
Participants will learn a progression of on-the-wall drills that can be applied and scaled for any level of climber, and walk away with tools they can use in every session, from beginner to V14 and beyond.
Limited to 15 participants.
Cost: Members $55 per hour, Non-Members $65 per hour

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION WITH KRIS HAMPTON OR NATE DROLET
Deciding what to work on in order to improve your climbing can be challenging. An excellent complement to a workshop, Private Sessions with Kris or Nate are an easy way to find exactly where you should be spending your valuable time and energy. The Power Company coaches have spent hundreds of hours working with climbers from 5.9 to 5.14 and V1 to V14, learning to read the language of climbing movement. They can quickly pick out what you do well, as well as the areas where you should focus your efforts, and will give you drills to help address those issues. After the session, you'll receive a PDF with links to videos and drill descriptions, and notes on the session.
For a one hour session, you should be warmed up prior to the scheduled arrival time.
For a two hour session (recommended), we would like to see you warm up so that we can see how your movement patterns change as difficulty does.

GROUP BOULDERING SESSIONS
Time is precious. Whether you are a boulderer or a route climber, spending time to get BETTER should be your #1 goal in the gym. Luckily, getting stronger and becoming a better climber doesn't demand much time, as long as your sessions are structured correctly!
Join Power Company coaches Kris Hampton and Nathan Drolet for this 2 Hour Workshop to explore training techniques that will help you get better faster and more efficiently.
All abilities are welcome, however, bouldering at a V3 level is recommended to get the most out of this workshop.
