MEMBERSHIP FAQ
What is EFT? EFT = Electronic Funds Transfer. It is our convenient automatic monthly payment option which requires a valid credit card or debit card. You will be automatically billed on the 1st of each month.
Can I cancel a monthly EFT membership? We will never make you sign a long-term contract. If you decide to cancel an EFT membership for any reason, just let us know before the 1st of the month by going to the My Membership page. There are no cancellation fees, but if you decide to restart your EFT membership, you will be charged the initiation fee again. To avoid this, you may freeze your membership instead for $8/month.
How do I freeze and un-freeze my membership? EFT memberships and Annual Prepaid memberships may be frozen for an unlimited amount of time for $8/month. No re-initiation fees upon thawing. Monthly EFT: Freezes must begin on the 1st of the month. Any changes to your EFT membership must be done before the 1st of the month. Upon thawing, we will automatically charge you the prorated price for the remainder of that month. Annual prepaid: Freezes may start at any time but must be for a minimum of 1 month and must be frozen in monthly increments. Payment for the number of months your account was frozen is due at the time of thawing. Your membership end date will then be automatically extended by the number of days frozen. You can freeze and un-freeze your membership by going to the My Membership page.
Are memberships transferrable? Sorry, we do not allow memberships to be transferred to another guest, even if they are your family member or BFF.
Can I upgrade a day pass or punch pass to a membership? Of course! If you buy a day pass, fall in love with climbing, and decide to join as a member at the end of your visit, you can put the amount paid for the day pass towards a membership option. You may also trade in the last punch on a 10 visit punch pass for the initiation fee of your monthly EFT membership.
