HOMESCHOOL DAYS
Homeschooling families are invited to bring their homeschoolers to Onsight Rock Gym from 11 AM - 3 PM for an fun day of indoor rock climbing at a special, discounted rate. Rock climbing is a great way to stay 1active, fit, and healthy. It not only challenges our bodies, but also engages our minds, teaches valuable problem solving skills, and builds self confidence.
Ages: 6 - 18 years (1st - 12th grade)
Offerings: Monday thru Friday. Check events calendar for upcoming days.
Times: 11 AM - 3 PM
Cost: $15 per climber (Includes day pass + rental gear package). Parents and students who are belaying only and NOT climbing are free of charge.
Homeschool Climbing Academy 1 & 2
Onsight Rock Gym is pleased to offer homeschoolers a unique, engaging, and challenging alternative to conventional sports with our dynamic, expertly designed, alternative PE course for students in 1st through 12th grade. Through climbing, we aim to help students build self-confidence, learn valuable problem-solving skills, and develop teamwork and leadership skills. Students will develop their social and athletic skills by using their minds and muscles in an environment that fosters healthy active lifestyles. They will make new friendships with other homeschoolers, get in a great workout, and have a blast doing it!
Students are actively supervised by Onsight’s highly skilled and experienced staff members and will receive individualized and group based instruction.
This 8-week curriculum has been designed to give students an introduction to the sport of indoor rock climbing and will cover the following topics:
Proper stretching and warm up techniques
Knot Tying
Top Rope Climbing
Bouldering
Climbing Technique and Movement
Endurance Development
Creatively designed climbing games
Ages: 6 years - 18 years (1st - 12th grade)

**Participants must complete and Homeschool Climbing Academy 1 and have coach approval BEFORE registering for Homeschool Climbing Academy 2.
Cost: $159 w/o gear | $179 w/gear for entire 8 week course
***Full gym membership to Onsight is NOT included; A $40 membership add-on for the 8 week period is available upon request.

Homeschool Climbing Club I & II
Homeschool Climbing Club will serve students that have previously been through the Homeschool Climbing Academy and are looking to advance their skills. Climbing Club students will gain knowledge of advance techniques, continued belay practice, and more!
Gym memberships are INCLUDED in pricing. We highly recommend for club members to come in for unlimited climbing and training outside of practice sessions.

All club members receive a FREE Onsight Climbing Club T-shirt.

No commitment or contracts. Cancel anytime with 30 day advanced notice.
Clubs will not meet on School Holiday Breaks
Climbing club members have the opportunity to participate in competitions if desired.

TUESDAYS, 2:15 - 3:45 PM (planned breaks & holidays included in dues)

6 years - 11 years
THURSDAYS, 2:15 PM to 3:45 PM (planned breaks & holidays included in dues)

OTHER INFORMATION: Students must complete Homeschool Climbing Academy 1 & 2, Climbing Academy 1 & 2, Intro to Climbing OR be invited by an Onsight Coach.
